With the New Year now just a few short hours away, I wanted to take a few moments to talk about a number of the exciting additions to the PI Window on Business Show for 2010. To those of our readers who are in the world of procurement and supply chain practice, we will also have a few added surprises that will be announced here in the Procurement Insights Blog in early January.
To begin, we will be expanding our guest hosting format to include some of the most amazing thought leaders whose guests are sure to both engage and entertain you.
Included in our growing line-up of premier guest hosts is Jim Bouchard, whose “Think Like a Black Belt” mantra has made him the true Sensei of trans-formative positive energy.
Also taking the lead behind the mike is “No-Compromise Leadership’s” Neil Ducoff who in January will welcome as one of his first guests Jack Stack, whose book “The Great Game of Business” was named as one of the top 100 business books of all time.
In February, the author of “Sell With Soul” Jennifer Allan will also assume the mantle of host for a segment that is bound to be as informative as it is empowering.
I would of course be remiss if I did not include Dr. John Ullmen, Ph.D. in our growing panoply of guest hosts, whose segment in January will see him discuss “What do leaders need to do, to lead effectively during challenging economic times.” Joining him will be Stefan Swanepoel, who is the leading authority on global real estate trends, and the author of the #1 international real estate annual trends report.
In addition to our new guest host series, we will also be introducing multiple part specials and regularly scheduled expert segments.
The first multiple part special will start on Monday, January 18th and continue on every second Monday from that point on when we will be joined by expert author, speaker and consultant Judy Bradt.
Over this first seven part series, Judy will discuss the current state of Government Contracting from the standpoint of what it takes to win government business. Based on her critically acclaimed “Seven Steps to Success” program, which leverages her 20 years of experience advising more than 6000 clients on success in government contracts that collectively have accounted for revenues in excess of $300 million US, you will be certain to come away with rich insights and practical ideas.
We will also be joined on a quarterly basis by U.S. high tech entrepreneur and investment expert Brad Feld who will provide insights on the state of the Venture Capital world including emerging opportunities in the new Feld’s Picks series.
Finally, and as always, we will continue to strive to deliver insightful, thought-provoking and entertaining radio on a regular basis with an exciting guest line-up discussing timely topics.
So as we close the 2009 season, and close in on our 100th show (February 2010), I would just like to thank you for investing one of your most valuable assets . . . your time, and tuning in to the PI Window on Business this past year.
Have a safe and Happy New Year!
