I know it’s been said many times, many ways . . . okay I am just coming out of the holiday season so excuse the reference to the Christmas carol lyrics.
Anyway, if I have said it once I have said it a million times . . . social media and procurement are a great combination.
I can think of no better example – or better material for my first post of 2014 – than my exchange in the IACCM LinkedIn Group earlier today.
Specifically my reference to Andy Akrouche’s December 23rd post “The (Real) Art of the Deal” and the resulting comment stream which I will now share with you;
While I will provide you with updates relating to any further comments, the real question is whether or not success in managing complex relationships is an art form limited to a select few genetically predisposed individuals.
My belief, as stated above, is that education and the desire to build transparent and mutually beneficial relationships leveraging an effective model is what really works.
